Hey, Habibi Hummus is inspired by my Tita (grandmother), Helene Habib, and our passed-down Lebanese family hummus recipe.
The loud whir of chickpeas stirring in the food processor, followed by family gathering around Tita’s counter to taste her hummus are core memories from my childhood.

Tita and I share in the simple joy of bringing people together over food, and hummus has always been my staple food to bring to any party.

When I’m not making hummus, I am a practicing physician’s assistant with a passion for health, wellness, and fitness. I understand the importance of a balanced, nutrient-rich diet and including enough protein to meet your health goals

Combining my two passions, I was able to perfect a hummus recipe with an extra punch of added protein that maintains the authentic Lebanese flavors.
